Heavier and Sabbathier (?) than their debut EP, this album really sets the tone for what to expect from Pesta. Heavy up front with some groove in the middle, these are some really great songs overall. Perhaps a better entry point than “Here she comes,” this should be required listening for any stoner/doom fan.

I listened to this last night and, I heard all kinds of influences. I heard guitar riffs that had a B.M. sound, Doom, metal, stoner, and rock. I really like this band. This is a good album!

I’ve never heard of Appalooza until just now. I listened to this single and then spontaneously shouted yahoo!! So yeah, I like it! The pounding tribal rhythm, the heavy riffing and a really great vocal performance all hit the spot. Looking forward to the album!
